Well we will be on our way to Minis On the Dragon Friday. Oh wait it is Friday. Crap I need to get some sleep. It's going to be a great trip though. Can't wait to get there and drive my little Mini Pick up on the Dragon. I think the most fun will be had on the way up there though as we stop in San Antonio and New Orleans.
BTW here are some pics of may new car.I love this little truck sooooo much. It's a 1968/80 Mini Pick up. Yes they did make a Mini Pick up from 61 to 83. Very hard to find these now. There is mayby a little over a dozen in the US as far as I know. I have only seen 3 in person myself being one of those three.
It's going to be a lot of fun bringing this to all the truckin show here in the valley and taking trophies away form gut that have spent their life savings on there Low rider truck Muuuuhhaaaaa.
OK that's it for me.

I finally finished the design I was working on for MC2 magazine. (MINI Cooper Squared) I owed them a little $$ for an ad that I didn't even really have the money to run. Somehow I got suckered into keeping it there longer than I can afford. So now I'm in this little dilemma. The owner called me a little while ago and wants to help me pay off the debt since I told them that I can pay them off in installments. So Barry(the owner) comes up with this Idea of doing windshield banners for the elite group of "MC2 Groupies" at the next event I'm doing.
No problem there. I get to design something new and pay of what I own all in what shot. So after 5 hours of design time I have something they are going to like. The 5 hours more than paid off my debt but now I have to print them too. So I don't know how to go about telling him that I'm paid up and now it's his turn to pay up. At least the hard part is over.
So that was all I got done today. Then Autumn got home and I went with her the the science fair. Poor girl put here heart and sole in to this project with no clue where to go. It's always hard to see your kid doing something and you really want to step in and help. Well at the fair it really shows in the projects that had help from their parents. There were only a few Mind you. After seeing what other kids did I didn't feel so bad about not helping my child. I think it was a good learning experience for her and she will do great next time. After the science fair I guess I got stuck in lazy mod because I couldn't pull myself back into the office. So I went out and flew my Storm Launcher. In case you don't know what that is. it's about the coolest yet the hardest RC aerial type thing out there. It's an All terrain flying machine. goes everywhere. Sand, Rocks, Grass, Black top, Water and even Air. You can fly it your self online. http://airhogs.com/ Anyway I love this thing. it's about the most fun anyone can ask for in 10 minutes. It's taken me 4 months now to just be able to keep the thing in the air but I'm getting better at it every time I fly. After that I really was planning on getting back to work but for some reason my "Lazy Boy" chair was calling my name. So I guess I'll get back to the grind tomorrow.
Saturday is going to be hella fun. I'm going on a fun run to the 12 Miles of Terror. AKA Homer Simpson Memorial run. This is one of the funnest piece of road in all of AZ. It's just south of Bagdad AZ and is really twisty and hilly making it dangerous and Oh SO fun! I went last year with my New MINI and had a blast this year I get to take the VTEC Mini for one last run before it goes to the new owner. Of course I have to go alone because for some reason the Matsuri Festival decided to be on the same day so I'm ditching the family. I know autumn would have a blast on the run. OH well.

As the wife said I finally got sick of the BS on Myspace and decided to join the not so masses. It really boils down to I don't write that often and I'm tired of Hannah telling me everything that goes on here and would much rather read it for my-self.
Since I'm addicted to MINI Coopers and toys I suppose that will be about the gist of my posts with the exception of a few rants form time to time.
OK so I've been waiting about 4 months to see, touch and test drive the new 2007 MINI. Just in case you know nothing about them. The New MINI came out in 2001 I've been hooked since day one because they reminded me of home and they are just damn fun to drive. The old body style was make from 1959 to 2000. Never chanced the style only a few options and updated technology over the years. In 2001 BMW crop took off the MINI name and made the New MINI. Completely changed the body style to what you see on the road today. Well now they have done so again. In 2007 they BMW decided it was costing to much money to have the motor made in Germany and the shipped to the UK for assembly so they re-invented the wheel by changing to a new manufacture for the motor. In that process they decided that a turbo charged MINI would be better for the economy than a super charged MINI. So they joined forces with Peugeot to make the new motor. Well because the new motor is bigger and crash test are more strict they had to change the body as well. for some that knows nothing about the MINI will not see much of a difference. but for someone like me it's like a whole new world. How's that for a quick history lesson?
So I was finally able to get me chance to drive one today. It was quite fun and now I miss my "old" New MINI. One thing I did notice it I have my work cut out for me in the next few months. I need to get a hold of a MINI so I can re-design all of my product. The body of the 07 is taller and longer so everything has to be changed. To lanch the intro to the new 07 MINI USA has put together a silly "Web-a-sode" of Hammer and Coop. Totaly cheese ball but very funny. http://hammerandcoop.com/#
OK Hannah is telling me it's time to go so I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to post pics. Yah. Pics :D
